Bob Eslinger put together a short description of
how to use the TaxWise
2010 software to complete the TY 2011 IRS Test
. There are very few places where
you need to make changes - std ded, exemptions, Sch C mileage, and energy
credit.

I tested it and verified my answers with the beta test that we did this
summer, so I am sure that you can complete the scenarios in the IRS test
with just the three files now in Files/Training/TY2011 in T-VOG:
- Taking the 2011 Test using TW10 Software B.doc (by BobE)
- Tax Year 2011 Changes.doc (from the IRS, previously announced here)
- DRAFTf5695--dft.pdf (energy credits for TY 2011)

It should work in both desktop and TWO/training10 (currently the same
content as TWO/training).

I hope this helps those wanting to get certified before the new software
comes out, expected to be about Nov 14 for Practice Lab and Thanksgiving for
desktop and TWO/training.

Note that the HSA and COD tests are not yet available. They should be out on
or before Nov 14.

[The same notice and files were posted to the TRS discussion board.]
